The wood of the Bursera Graveolens tree is called Palo Santo (holy wood). It is mainly found in Mexico, on the Yucatán Peninsula, in Peru and Venezuela, where it has been used for thousands of years. When the wooden sticks are burned, the characteristic intense scent of the resin develops: aromatic, woody with a slight sweetness and a hint of lemon. To do this, light one end of a stick and let it burn until you see some embers. Often, the resin will also become liquid. Wave or blow out the flame again and walk through the room you want to scent with the smoking Palo Santo. Then place the stick in a fireproof bowl and let it glow.
This Palo Santo wood is of the highest quality. Sustainably harvested with respect for culture and people.
